Research interests
My research interests are in organic and analytical chemistry, with projects funded by industrial sponsors such as GlaxoSmithKline PLC, LGC Ltd, Innovate UK and, more recently, Haleon PLC, working on the design and synthesis of fluorogenic compounds for problem pathogen detection and method development for NMR metabolomics/2D qNMR for complex mixture characterisation and metrology.
