Research interests
My research focuses on the effects of overtraining on the immune and endocrine systems, with a specific focus on identifying objective biomarkers of the overtraining syndrome. Cells of particulat interest are T cells and dendritic cells. My other research interests, and topics of ongoing projects include healthy immune ageing and female physiology.
