Research interests

A Research Fellow in the Health, Education and Society Knowledge Exchange and Research Institute at Kingston University London, I bring a wide portfolio of skills and cross-disciplinary knowledge (social anthropology, international development, education, healthcare) to academic and applied research. A key area of work at present is around the wellbeing of the health and care workforce, contributing to cross-Faculty expertise around the workforce and the Future of Work. My specific research interests centre on nature-based approaches to health and wellbeing, exploring how engagement with the more-than-human world can promote holistic health and mutual thriving. I am particularly interested in practices that foster sustainable and reciprocal relationships between humans and other-than-human beings, emphasizing co-created wellbeing and resilience. I am currently investigating these issues in relation to workplace nature-based interventions for health and care professionals.
