Research interests
Maria Fernandez Marinovic is a designer and researcher specialising in innovation for sustainability. She is a PhD researcher at Kingston University, where her work focuses on sustainable consumption practices, particularly in relation to children and toys. Her research integrates theories of play and material culture to explore how design can influence consumer behaviour and contribute to more sustainable futures.
In parallel with her academic work, she is professionally engaged in the Danish public energy sector, where she supports the development of digital products and services aimed at advancing the green transition.
