My research focuses on the intersections of human-computer interaction, urban mobility, data, and design within complex socio-technical systems, applying methods such as agent-based modelling, GIS, participatory design, and exploratory interfaces. My work investigates human behaviour and decision-making in navigational and mobility contexts, exploring how people interact with digital and physical infrastructures, algorithmically mediated systems, autonomous vehicles, and data-driven tools. I have contributed to the development of crowdsourcing platforms for journey experience data, co-designed AI- and data-informed policy interventions, and prototyped interactive mobility solutions that integrate behavioural insights into smart city environments. Looking ahead, I am interested in extending these approaches to more-than-human systems and exploring how ecological and environmental processes can inform the design of responsive, ethical and AI-enabled technologies.
