Development of Solid State NMR techniques to analyse Oral Health hard tissue and bacterially derived samples

Project: Research & KE

Project Details

Description

Development of protocols and practical understanding to run solid state NMR, followed by analysis of simple and more challenging samples to illustrate the application of solid state NMR as a tool for consumer product development. The aim is to prove ssNMR as a n adaptable, non destructive technique for characterising and quantifying nuclei in different states within the oral cavity, specifically adulterated and unadulterated enamel surfaces.
