Abstract

In 2018 Illustration Animation BA (Hons) (IABA) organised a Knowledge Exchange Collaboration with the Fine Arts Animation course at the University of the Arts, Vienna. I was asked by the head of department to lead this collaboration from the Kingston side. A group of 10 IABA students and 10 Vienna students spent one week in Kingston, and then a few weeks later, one week in Vienna collaborating on group led animated films based around drawing. This case study outlines what we did in those two weeks and the value I could bring back to my teaching practice at Kingston.
