Air law & space law: historical aspects and perspectives for future

Abstract

This paper reviews the progress made in two branches of international law: Air Law and Space Law. The paper includes also the corresponding development in aerospace, including the inventions, the actors and the forums through which it has been made. The similarities and differences between air and space law are concluded, and in a wider context, new possible ways of development are explored and proposed in the paper.
