Note: Translated and edited by Stephen Barber.Impact: This publication involved the editing, annotation, translation and presentation of a set of letters by the 1930s artist Antonin Artaud. The project was undertaken in close collaboration with Cabinet gallery in London, leading to public events attended by capacity audiences of artists and writers who gained new knowledge through the publication and events. Future impact will be consolidated through further collaborative initiatives with Cabinet gallery. The publication also involved extensive collaboration with a French public institution, the Bibliotheque Nationale de France, which fully participated in the dissemination of new knowledge which this publication represents, for wideranging public impact.
