    Abstract

Lucy Renton's presentation discussed the Design sources for her Fine Art practice which is concerned with colour, pattern, ornament and what Walter Benjamin in his Arcades Project calls 'the fantasmagoria of the interior'. These sources include textile archives, retail display and museum collections, and her involvement in the Bummock Project in connection with the Nottingham Lace Archive.
