    Abstract

    This is a second version of my chapter 'Assessing Citizenship' in 'Learning to teach Citizenship in the Secondary School'. This update explores some of the fundamental principles involved in effective assessment practice in teaching the national curriculum subject of citizenship, in a time of significant curricular and assessment procedure change.
