    Instrument: Chimburazo was written for Kathron Sturrock, Ileanna Ruhemann and Chris O'Neil, members of the Fibonacci Sequence, and was first performed at Kingston University in February 2009. It attempts to capture the atmosphere of the eponymous mountain in the Ecuadorian Andes that I was fortunate enough to visit during 2008. The landscape, high altitude and thin atmosphere combine to create a magical feeling of euphoria.
