N2 - Movie theaters have amazed and entertained humanity for over a hundred years through the combination of art and science known as cinematography. While the conventional 2D motion pictures are still the leading contents of cinemas, there is a notable rise in the number of movies being shown in 3D stereoscopic format. However, in the mean time, the presence of stereoscopic television is reclining and new forms of visualizations are emerging, such as glasses-free 3D technologies. The research efforts of the recent years made light field visualization viable and commercially available. In this paper, we introduce a large-scale light field cinema system, implementation of which is already executable in the present day. The aim of this paper is to highlight the scalability of such systems and demonstrate its capabilities through the parameters of a real-life 3D movie theater.
