Abstract
COLUMNS revisits and expands upon one of the fundamental architectural features of Kelly's design for the iconic Manchester nightclub, The Hacienda. Kelly's exhibitions look at columns as symbols of historical power, but through the lens of a contemporary culture which subverts the origins of that power.
