Abstract
A comparison of the accuracy and efficiency of different turbulence models has been performed in the process of simulation of the oil flow and the heat transfer in the elements of concurrent and countercurrent heat exchangers. The results obtained show that the existence of a laminar-turbulent transition in the flow of oil in such apparatus significantly influences the characteristics of the oil flow and the heat transfer in it.
