    Abstract

The film explores shallow and deep space and time on a suburban commuter railway platform; as people rush for their connection up the steep ramp they expose the nature this circulatory design. Parallax causes the speeding train to smear streaks of colour across the frame giving way to deep views across platforms; the fast moving train passengers contrasting with the fixed architectural forms which structure their movement.
