Impact: Johnston Journeys is an integrated programme of collection development and volunteering, based around the typographical work of Edward Johnston. The project is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund (┬ú84,600). Edward Johnston‘s work sets the international standard for twentieth century san-serif lettering design, and this symposium was therefore the epicentre of renewed interest in Johnston, proliferating a year of events, publications and exhibitions around the world.
