Abstract
The paper analyses the extend to which the Regional Industry tied-up Programme (Japan) has supported SMEs in enhancing their internationalisation activities. The paper considers the context, objectives, operation mechanism, strengths and weaknesses as well as the monitoring and outcomes of the intervention.
