    This five volume work brings together the literature of the movement launched in 1869 to repeal the Contagious Diseases (CD) Acts in Britain. This anthology focuses upon the work of Josephine Butler (1828-1906), leader of the Ladies' National Association for the Repeal of the CD Acts.
