    Abstract

    This publication is a special issue of the scholarly arts journal 'Performance Research' I co-edited the issue with Richard Gough of the University of South Wales, and also contributed an original essay entitled 'Richard Hawkins and the Disfiguration of the Archive', as well as the co-authored (with Richard Gough) editorial essay.

    Impact: This co-edited issue of a prominent arts journal is intended to have impact in its reception and use by wideranging public audiences of artists, performers and writers. The journal is distributed worldwide and its impact is expected to be of an international character, in generating new arts initiatives and arts experiments. It is likely to have financial benefits for artists in generating artworks which will be presented in performance venues and arts centres; an assessment of impact can be undertaken after its publication. The issue also involved a significant cross-institutional collaboration with University of South Wales as well as collaborations with prominent visual artists and performers.
