Abstract

Are we artists or researchers? Makers or practitioners? Do the boundaries shift as we create and grow? This pictorial chapter revisits a collaboration and collective, first bound together by plurality in our shared identities between the academic, educational, industry and self-expression, now reformed and renewed. Some of us pull back from the boundary with research, separating the artistic self from the research ‘other’. Some of us find ourselves pulled toward it as it retreats. This collection of images picks up where we left off; the story continues, and we invite you to be part of it. We, seven artists as researchers/artists as researchers, again bare our souls for you here and curate a selection of our lives and research agendas to be consumed and absorbed.
