    Abstract

This series of books devised by EXP explores and expands the popular series of critical Supercrit research events. Based on an original design by John Morgan Studio and published by Routledge, these A4 books, based on a full annotated transcript of the original debate, explain the conversation complemented by extensive illustrations, including both iconic images and little known original material. The format includes the description of the project, the brief; an introductory essay; an illustrated section of key images of the building; the edited and illustrated transcript of the debate itself; a review, reprints of key articles and other visual material and a full reading list. The books are devised as essential reading for both new students and expert readers. In Supercrit #2, Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown revisit their infamous book which overturned the barriers separating high architecture from the commercial architecture of the Strip. you can hear the couple‘s project description, see the drawings and join in the crit. This innovative and compelling book is an invaluable resource for any architecture student.
