The EEF was established by the Sutton Trust in 2011, and is an independent grant-making charity dedicated to breaking the link between family income and educational achievement, ensuring that children from all backgrounds can fulfill their potential and make the most of their talents.
This article crosses interests and disciplines across SEC faculty, particularly geography and computing due to the distance-learning aspect, and the space of the body (emotional geographies). It also has relevance across the university and would be suitable for the 2020 Horizons in STEM Higher Education Conference.
