Abstract

Written for Kathron Sturrock, Rainy Days and Holidays received its first performance at a Forward Music Night held at the British Music Information Centre on September 7th 1999. The piece alternates passages of slow moving chordal music with fast, rhythmic counterpoint before a concluding combination of material.
