abstract = "This paper is about the study of radio frequency energy harvesting operating at 2.45 GHz by using rectifier and an antenna named as rectenna. Micro-strip inset-fed rectangular patch is fabricated. A simple rectifier circuit designed to convert antenna AC power into DC with Schottky diodes (HSMS-2850) for RF detection. Antenna{\textquoteleft}s design and parameters such as gain, directivity, return loss, voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) and input impedance are analyzed in high frequency simulator (HFSS). The antenna geometry; width and length of the patch, inset-feed, inset-distance and gap is calculated using MATLAB software. The rectenna model is simulated using advanced design system (ADS) software and the results were found in good agreement.",
