Abstract

Sonic Healing Immersion Therapy is an experiential process that aims to interpret and amplify a participant’s thoughts, dreams or memories through improvised sound. One person at a time is guided through a series of instructions, resulting in a unique, personalised sound improvisation.

The Sonic Healers will gather by the fireside to form a group of players reminiscent of a pub session - inspired by traditional reels. Visitors were invited to respond to an instruction and this served as the spark for improvised music.
