Abstract
I have been offered a solo exhibition in March 2020. This exhibition will be based on my photographic body of work produced from 1995 to 2007, 'Space at the Centre - London 1995 to 2007'. This work has been made using a modified 35mm customised camera. The show will take place at Pigment Gallery, a leading gallery of contemporary art in Barcelona. I hope to also bring the exhibition to London, which is the inspiration and the subject of this photographic project.

Bibliographical note
Number of Pieces: 50Impact: This exhibition represents a crucial era in recent history. The work expresses analogue approaches and techniques now considered historical. However there is great contemporaneity and interest in photography and fine art disciplines now, not only in technical methods and materials of the analogue age, but also in the content of the images, many of which depict artists in their studios at the beginning of their careers and who are now key figures in the global art world, as well as depicting the architectural transformation of London during the 1990s and first decade of the 2000s. The images document a key period in the development of British art and architecture, in particular public space. The era depicted was a formative period not only in art, but also in retrospect appears a golden age of British theatre, criticism, literature, architecture, one which coincided with a period of liberal democracy and relative equality. This exhibition will allow me to show my work to relevant art institutions in the UK to potentially house this collection. There is renewed interest now in analogue and film methods in photography, which can have a dimensionality and character impossible to obtain in digital imagery, and which goes back to the use of natural light. This project will allow me to engage with new audiences through this show. I will build links and pursue collaborations through existing contacts with the Tate Modern collection, for example.
