Abstract

M-health or Mobile healthcare is a new paradigm that bridges the emerging technologies of wireless communications and network technologies with the power of ‘Connected health any time and anywhere’. In this paper, we present an advanced m-health platform of a robotic teleultrasound system for both ultrasonography medical diagnostic and training purposes. The detailed configuration and operation of the mobile telemedical robotic system is presented in details. Preliminary clinical evaluation results of the system is also given to demonstrate the feasibility and efficiency of the system in clinical training and
diagnostic settings.
