    Abstract

THE REFLEXIVE PRACTITIONER: BACKGROUND The project title consciously echoes an earlier project 'Reflexive Archive‘ funded by ADM-HEA and carried out by the same team. That project looked at the use of e-learning and online technologies and how they enhance the usefulness and widen the reach of guest lectures delivered into the Fine Art curriculum by visiting professional practitioners. This project builds on that work through a sustained enquiry into the value of contributions of professional practitioners. Despite continuously changing in content, these 'guest‘ lectures are central to the curriculum and an essential component of the students‘ learning experience.
