Abstract
This interactive workshop will use a variety of tools to explore current and potential approaches to support self-reflection on goals, skills and attribute acquisition in students. Skills and attributes which are considered to be
key will be identified from different perspectives. Recent innovative practice within co-curricular work and
Personal Tutor meetings will be used as examples of good practice, and the specific skills which were gained
by students engaged in such opportunities will be actively explored. Together possible feasible alternative
ways of supporting the development of self-reflection skills in students will be identified.
