  • Kingston University

Research output: Book/ReportManual/Documentation

Abstract

Hackathons are team based, problem-based activities, where participants work creatively, often under time constraints to develop a product, service, or idea that respond to real world challenges.

This toolkit is designed to support university staff involved in teaching to integrate hackathons into their pedagogic approach. It brings together research insights, staff interviews, existing resources, and institutional priorities to create a practical guide for designing and running impactful hackathon-style learning experiences.
