Towards a visual taxonomy of absence: can illustration practice articulate pre-verbal embodied experience?

    Research output: Contribution to conferencePosterpeer-review

    Abstract

This paper asks if the under-represented voice of adoptees might be more authentically heard through visual form rather than words. The underlying theme addresses the understanding of what is unique in illustration practice, asking a core question of what is illustration capable of communicating that no other discipline can achieve?
