Bibliographical note
Impact: Disclosed is an alternative to bioreductive unmasking of methides, using controllable soft visible-light release of nitroxides from alkoxyamines. We envisage wide-ranging applications from this new class of photoactive molecules from visible-light activated cytotoxins to radical initiators for vinyl monomer photopolymerization with the possibility of forming polymers end-functionalized with antibiotics. Keywords
